Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Waterloo is seeking a full or part-time LGBT-affirming Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide individual, couples, group and family mental health counseling to a diverse client population. Qualified applicants must have current Texas licensure LCSW and work some evening hours to accommodate client schedules. Saturday hours are also available. Bilingual English-Spanish therapy skills helpful, but not required. Current Medicare/Medicaid provider number preferred, but not required. Applicants must make cultural competency and respect for others an absolute priority.
The therapist must collect client eligibility documentation required by funders and complete billing slips, progress notes and treatment plans. Required hours per week are negotiable from part to full time (40 hours), including some evening therapy hours. Compensation commensurate with experience and number of hours worked. Benefits include health insurance (at 30 hours, after 60 days) with optional employee-paid dental and vision. Employee contribution to a retirement fund is available to all employees. Includes training stipend, insurance credentialing costs paid, paid vacation/sick time and holidays.
