Bilingual Therapist

Waterloo Counseling Center is seeking a bilingual therapist to provide mental health counseling to a diverse client population. Qualified applicants must have current Texas licensure of LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPC-I, LMFT, or LMFT-A and work some evening hours to accommodate client schedules. Bilingual English-Spanish therapy skills required. Full licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT preferred; current Medicare/Medicaid provider number preferred.

Applicants must have experience and interest in delivering therapy to a diverse population and make cultural competency and respect for others a priority. The therapist will deliver LGBTQIA+ affirming individual, couples, group and family psychotherapy in English and Spanish. The therapist must collect client eligibility documentation required by funders and complete billing slips, progress notes and treatment plans. Required hours per week are negotiable up to full time (40 hours), including some evening therapy hours.

Compensation commensurate with experience and number of hours worked, with full-time range of $39,000-$41,000/year. Benefits include health insurance (at 30 hours, after 60 days) with optional employee-paid dental and vision and employee contribution to a retirement fund. Also includes training stipend, insurance credentialing costs paid (for eligible fully-licensed candidates), clinical supervision (for first level licensure candidates), paid vacation/sick time and holidays.
