What We Do
Waterloo offers high quality, affordable mental health counseling to the entire community and has an expertise in serving the LGBTQ community; people living with HIV/AIDS and their loved ones; and people experiencing trauma, depression or anxiety. Fees are based on a sliding scale for people who are uninsured. Waterloo accepts many major forms of insurance, including traditional Medicaid and Medicare.

Trans* Women's Psychotherapy Group
Sarah Gremillion, LCSW facilitates this ongoing psychotherapy group for trans (MtF) women. The group welcomes trans women at any stage of transition and offers a safe and affirming place to explore your trans journey. Support Group for People Living with HIV/AIDS
Brian Killworth, LPC-I and Karen Finley Breeding, LPC co-facilitate this dynamic support group for people living with HIV/AIDS. The informal setting permits group members to focus on supporting one another and sharing what works for them. There is no cost for this service, but registration is required.
