Licensed Staff Therapist
Waterloo Counseling Center is seeking a fully licensed staff therapist to provide counseling to clients. Waterloo’s mission is to strengthen the mental health and well-being of Central Texas individuals, couples and families through effective and affordable counseling with an expertise in gender, sexual and cultural diversity. Qualified applicants for this position must have current Texas licensure of LCSW, LPC or LMFT. All applicants must have experience and interest in delivering therapy to a diverse population and must have availability for evening appointments. Required hours per week is negotiable up to full time (40 hours). Bilingual English-Spanish therapy skills preferred. Student Internship Program
Waterloo's Student Internship Program accepts Master's level students in LPC-track and LMSW-track academic programs from area colleges and universities. The center requires a two semester commitment and prefers applicants who have both prior clinical experience (i.e., work experience, previous practicum/internship experience) and knowledge, training, and interest in working with the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender communities.
